We have recently started collaborating with the MS Society Tissue Bank based at Imperial College London. They have been collecting brain tissue from donors with MS for 17 years in the UK. There continues to be an increasing need for MS researchers to have access to well characterized tissue from people with MS. They have an extremely important role in MS Research and it is vital they continue to collect tissue and recruit donors. This will enable an increased understanding of the processes that underlie disease progression and will help identify potential new drug targets for treatment.
If you would like to become a donor or know someone who would be interested, please visit and contact www.imperial.ac.uk/brain-bank
The MS Society Tissue bank also seek consent to collect tissue from people without MS, such as family members or friends, if you would be interested, please visit and contact www.imperial.ac.uk/brain-bank
Thank you for your interest. Your donation makes a difference to future MS research.
